I am a wife, mother, a sojourner, and a friend; one who believes that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and also one whose heart rejoices in that truth.
I am also a sinner.
It is not my ambition to sin, but I do sin daily in my thoughts, my words and my deeds. All Christians do, but the Holy Spirit convicts us when we do sin. That is why we hate it, and strive not to sin. That is also why we love the Lord…because He lived a perfectly sinless life in our place, and He died in our place, so we could have eternal life, an eternal relationship with Him, and a home in Heaven.
I have another blog. It is newer, and is devoted to briefer posts. I try to avoid writing more than one paragraph of my own thoughts in my posts there. It is called “Serenaded Softly.” It is also where i have posted most of my poetry. Here is the link to that blog:

My favorite verse (okay, I say that about a lot of Bible verses, but this is really #1) is when Jesus says “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father but through me.” I also rejoice in that truth. I’ve added you to my blogroll so I can some back when I have more time to check out some of your other posts. Peace be with you.

Hi Sis–just wanted to let you know that I talked with Deb today. She and her family were impacted by yesterday’s tornado, however God showed great mercy and favor to them. Deb’s house was not harmed, but the entire street where her Momma lived is Gone. Momma is a bit bruised up, but nothing serious, and last night was delivered to Deb’s brother’s home during this time of transition and recovery. As Deb did not have power until just a few hours ago, and still has no Internet–she asked that I communicate with a few folks she cares deeply about, lest you be worrying unduly. She’ll contact folks personally when email is restored. I hope you are well, dear heart–God bless you BIG–love, sis Caddo

Theresa, your “About” is so refreshing. I love how you say ” I am also a sinner. It is not my ambition to sin, but I do sin daily in my thoughts, my words and my deeds. All Christians do, but the Holy Spirit convicts us when we do sin.” For a long time now I have tried to say what you’ve accurately summed up here but the words somehow escaped me.
