I miss you all so much. I am worn out. 🙂 I am hoping that I will get a chance to get caught up on reading all of my favorite blogs this weekend…like Rea’s, Linda’s, the other Linda’s, Deb’s Heather’s and Ann’s. Say a little prayer for me.
44No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
45It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.
46Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father.
47Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.
48I am that bread of life. John 6:44-48 KJV
4 And he had to pass through Samaria. John4:4 ESV
19The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet.
20Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.
21Jesus saith unto her,Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.
22Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.
23But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
24God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
25The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things.
26Jesus saith unto her,I that speak unto thee am he. John 4:19-26 KJV
Some things are soooo worthy of a second glance…no, not just a glance, but a long hard look. 🙂 Please click on the two links below and pause for a moment of worship that is both “in Spirit and in Truth”
I love to tell the story of unseen things above, Of Jesus and His glory, of Jesus and His love. I love to tell the story, because I know ’tis true; It satisfies my longings as nothing else can do.
Refrain
I love to tell the story, ’twill be my theme in glory, To tell the old, old story of Jesus and His love.
I love to tell the story; more wonderful it seems Than all the golden fancies of all our golden dreams. I love to tell the story, it did so much for me; And that is just the reason I tell it now to thee.
Refrain
I love to tell the story; ’tis pleasant to repeat What seems, each time I tell it, more wonderfully sweet. I love to tell the story, for some have never heard The message of salvation from God’s own holy Word.
Refrain
I love to tell the story, for those who know it best Seem hungering and thirsting to hear it like the rest. And when, in scenes of glory, I sing the new, new song, ’Twill be the old, old story that I have loved so long.
Refrain
Here below is a clip from a movie I like. Don’t read too much into it…There is only one “Way”, and “Jesus” is “The Way”. But still, I saw an illustration of something. “Jesus” is the “King of Kings” and “Lord of Lords” and if we have placed our faith in Him as our personal Savior we might still have our sinful flesh to contend with that distracts us and causes us to forget Him and also who we truly are…“Children of the King”, but even when we forget He doesn’t. “Jesus” delights in reminding us of just “Who”…”Heis” and “Who”…“we are” because of that.
Can a woman forget her nursing child, or lack compassion for the child of her womb? Even if these forget, yet I will not forget you.16 Look, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; your walls are continually before Me. Isaiah 49:15-16 HCSB
He longs for us to be conformed NOT into Mufasa’s image but the image of the Lord who happens to hold many titles…one of them is “The Lion of the tribe of Judah” (Revelation 5:5) 🙂
