I had forgotten all about the account of the widow. Then it came to me a little while ago. Things add up quite differently in the Lord’s treasury. Sometimes we have so little to offer to Him and to each other. The Lord sees the heart, and never despises what we have to share. We can’t see the hearts of others…it is not our job to “try the reins”, but if we ask the Lord for help, we can find it in our hearts to be gracious.
