Reblogged this on Moore to Ponder and commented:

“Months ago I read the twenty-fourth chapter of Genesis a number of times. I read commentaries, too. I really struggled as I considered all the people mentioned and all that took place. I couldn’t get over how soon after reconciling with Esau that Jacob would face another crisis. Over and over in Jacob’s life he was either deceiving someone, or being deceived by someone. Now he must witness his own sons’ use of deception in order to take vengeance…”

Thinkng of how often I feel all is lost, that I have messed up too badly this time. But there was God, speaking instructions to Jacob on what to do and where to go and how to handle the current mess. So thankful that He can do that for me too! Love you !

Oh, Deb I feel that way about my messes, too, but it is so hard for me to picture you feeling that way, because you have one of the most beautiful hearts I have ever encountered in my lifetime.

I guess we just need to rest more in the fact that we are precious in His sight.

      Love and blessings,
      Theresa
