It is my hope that all who read my blog will understand and appreciate that we all come into the world with the following in common:
God Loves Us.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8
We All Are Sinners.
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.Romans 3:23
As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one. Romans 3:10
God’s Remedy For Our Sin
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. John 1:12
For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures. 1 Corinthians 15:3-4
All May Be Saved Now.
Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him. Revelation 3:20(a)
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:13
My Decision to Receive Christ As My Saviour; A Decision Each of Us Must Make for Ourselves
( something to pray )
“Lord Jesus, I believe that You are God, that You died for my sin, and that You rose again from the dead. I know that I am a sinner, and I ask You now to be my personal Saviour. I’m placing my full trust in You alone, and I now accept Your gift of eternal life. Thank you for keeping Your promise! Amen.”
If you have made this decision for Christ record the date somewhere; it is a date so precious that you will want to remember it.
We All Should Follow Jesus.
After making your decision to receive Christ, I would urge you to do two things. First begin to seek the Lord in prayer and study of the Bible. If you do not have a Bible click on this link: www.biblegateway.com, and you can begin reading there. Then seek a local church, congregation, or assembly (even a small group)…it might be in your town or even online (see my blogroll) that will assist you in growing as a new Christian by the clear teaching of the Bible. If this second step seems a little scary, then pray some more and tell Him about it. He loves you so, and will be so glad to guide you. He will not leave you…Would a good mother ignore the cries of her baby? No, she would do all that was in her power to care for that child. Well, the Lord loves his children even more, and His power has no bounds! So do not be afraid. The Lord is patient and understanding. Trust him.
But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen. 2Peter 3:18
Can a woman forget her nursing child, or lack compassion for the child of her womb? Even if these forget, yet I will not forget you. Isaiah 49:15
Our Assurance As a Believer
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Romans 10:9
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. John 5:24
But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name. John 20:31
Do you have a Bible? If you don’t have one, you need not worry. Just click here:www.biblegateway.com They have many versions and translations of the Bible that you can read. Some of the best things in life are free!

These are very important words indeed! God bless you for sharing the way to Jesus so beautifully and plainly, so that anyone who wants to, can come . . .right here, right now! May the angels rejoice tonight as someone does just that!

Deb,
Thank you. I wanted the post about the judgement seat of Christ to be included in the section you reach by clicking on “About Salvation: Very Important Words”, but I didn’t want it to be on top. I wanted it to come 2nd when you scrolled, and I wanted “Basic Math” and Very Big Hands to come 3rd. So I had to repost this one, so it would be on top.
There is probably another way I could have done it, but I only know how to do just a few things when I go to my dashboard. 🙂
One nice thing about reposting some of this stuff is that people who search by tags might come across them.
Love,
Theresa

I really like that you re-post because I don’t get to go through and read people’s previous posts like I would like to. 🙂
And I am doing good to just get a post up! ha! I STILL don’t have the link thing figured out and have never even tried looking a song up and posting that! Maybe , just maybe, I’ll learn more along the way yet? God is good and so gracious to me, to even be doing what I am!
love you! deb

Theresa,
So many are totally deaf to hearing Jesus knock at their heart’s door….. And, others are hiding behind their tightly bolted doors, stubbornly not wanting to let Jesus into their heart.
We all have so many different kinds of nudges from our Lord to let us know that we really do need His free salvation — if we would just give up our pride in thinking we can make it through life without God…. Thank you for these great reminders.
Love,
Margaret

I am so happy to meet you, Kim! I am also so happy for you that you have entered into a personal relationship with the Lord.
If you ever have any questions I would be honored to address them. I could even write a post if it is a topic that I have never covered before.
Blessings,
Theresa
