Theology in Hymns

There is a really neat blog that has been serving to teach us things about hymns and their writers. Starting on January 1st he changed the format to help us learn theology from them.  Each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday will have a short lesson that is devoted to a different hymn and and has a few questions at the bottom.  He is also hoping to add a few topical articles on the week-ends. In one way it is even better than a book or course you might buy from a catalog; you can type your question(s) in the comment section!

Here is the link to his sight and the first lesson:

Thank you Theresa, for sharing that! Will have to go check it out now . .. 🙂 You know, I’m just loving what God is doing here. I know so much bad can be done through the internet, but look at all the good people are doing too! It excites me and makes me smile and praise Him. Now, on to the hymns! God bless you and how you keep on sharing the Good News!

Ann, I am so glad! I have been meaning to get back over there, but so far I have only had a chance to look at the hymn “Standing On The Promises” (His post for January1, 2011).

I hope you have a great weekend, and I can’t wait to read your next post!

      Love,
      Theresa
