Thank you. What an awesome privilege it is to hide and rest…in the “cleft of the rock” or “the hollow of His hand”; they both are the same. 🙂

this is for me. i am still a little child longing for that comfort but have to be grown up. If i can’t have that comfort, i will be the one giving it. but then, i am always loved and comforted, right? 🙂

    bendedspoon,

I believe that we all long for that comfort no matter who we are or how old we are. The Lord has promised that He will comfort his children. He loves to comfort us.
In the 17th chapter of the Gospel of John is a prayer that Jesus prayed for us the night before He was taken away and crucified. Here is a verse that I hope you will like. It contains a promise Jesus made

“16And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.18I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. John 14:16-18

And when we have been comforted we also like to comfort others. Your children are blessed to have a mother who comforts them. 🙂
